DESCRIPTION

Industrial pH transmitter 4–20 mA:

The pH500 is an easy-to-use industrial pH transmitter. Thanks to its microprocessor-based processing system, it offers a wide range of features.
  • CAL Check™ alerts users to the calibration status.
  • The “Fail Safe” alarm system protects these meters against process control errors.
  • Push-button password programming prevents tampering.

Analog output:

To enhance troubleshooting and enable data logging during monitoring, simply connect a recording device to the instrument’s 4–20 mA output contacts, ideally located on the front panel, to obtain a paper copy of the results on demand.

Industrial pH transmitter with built-in fail-safe alarm system:

Hanna’s exclusive Fail Safe alarm system protects against issues caused by power failures or signal interruptions, which are common risks in industrial environments. An alarm condition is indicated by a red LED located directly on the front panel of the controller.

Industrial pH transmitter with differential input:

In a system with poor grounding, ground currents can flow through the reference junction, which may cause rapid electrode degradation. The Hanna differential input reduces the likelihood of ground loops.

PC connectivity:

The RS232C port allows connection to a PC. Data transfer from the instrument to the PC is possible using the compatible HI 92500 Windows application software provided by Hanna Instruments®.

Proportional control:

The transmitter slows down the pump when the pH level reaches the setpoint, ensuring precise dosing and reducing costs associated with exceeding the dosing threshold.

Automatic temperature compensation

A 2-wire Pt100 can be connected to provide automatic temperature compensation for the measurements.
