DESCRIPTION

Dehumidification principle

Moist air is absorbed by the dehumidifier and passes through a silica gel wheel to remove moisture from the inlet air before exiting dry in the desired humidity range. A pump coupled with a resistor continuously blows on the wheel to extract the absorbed water before it is discharged into a container. Another air intake line maintains the dehumidifier's internal pressure.

Frigosorb

Frigosorb is a principle patented by DST-Seibu Giken and used in applications where it is difficult to remove an airflow from humid air. Thanks to the Frigosorb heat pump, it is very energy efficient, using approximately 1/3 of the total energy consumption of regular sorption dehumidifiers.
