    DESCRIPTION

The HI3896 is a chemical test kit designed for determining the most commonly monitored parameters in soil analysis. Using the Hanna soil analysis kit, it is possible to measure pH and the most essential elements for plant growth: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). This kit includes all the necessary reagents and equipment to perform more than 25 tests for each parameter.
    • Pre-made reagents for ease of use
    • All reagents are labeled with an expiration date and lot number for traceability purposes.
    • Soil analysis manual included

    Importance of use:

The soil pH range of 5.5 to 7.5 accommodates most plants; however, some species prefer a more acidic or alkaline environment. Nevertheless, each plant thrives within a specific pH range. pH strongly influences nutrient availability as well as the presence of microorganisms and plants in the soil. The three macronutrients most essential for plants are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). Other elements, known as micronutrients, are generally present in sufficient quantities in the soil since plants only require them in smaller amounts.
