Multifunctional gas detector

The MRU 400GD includes a base unit that can be combined with a range of interchangeable sensors to cover a wide variety of applications, providing a compact and cost-effective solution. The system operates by connecting one of the seven interchangeable sensors, and after a brief 30-second warm-up (if required), the detector is ready for use. Some sensors require a short warm-up period, while others—such as the RM400 humidity sensor, the IR400 infrared temperature sensor, and the HM400 hygrometer sensor—are ready to use immediately once installed.

After setting the user-adjustable alarm threshold, you are ready to slowly move the sensor along a pipe or the tested area. The 400GD features an easy-to-read color graphic display. The gas detector will show the measurement result in ppm, %, and LEL %, while simultaneously displaying a graphical progress curve of the entire measurement. The leak detector provides three types of alerts when the alarm threshold is reached. It will trigger a red LED on the sensor, an audible beep, and a vibration on the base unit.
