    Calibration solutions:

HI54710-11 is a set of premium technical calibration buffers pH 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01 produced in accordance with ISO 3696/BS3978 using high purity salts, deionized water, certified weight-verified balances and Class A glassware in a temperature-controlled environment monitored by certified thermometers. Reported values are accurate to +/- 0.01 pH @ 25°C and are traceable to NIST Standard Reference Materials (SRM).

    Cleaning solution:

HI7061L is a general purpose cleaning solution that can be used for a variety of applications. Electrodes can become dirty from use and produce inaccurate results even if they read correctly in pH buffer. The most common cause of pH measurement inaccuracies is a dirty or poorly cleaned electrode. This is very important to note because, during calibration, the instrument assumes that the electrode is clean and that the normalization curve created during the calibration process will remain a valid reference until the next calibration. pH meters on the market today will allow an offset voltage of approximately ±60 mV. The deviation from 0 mV is not unusual, but ideally should not exceed ±30 mV. The calibration process compensates for the change in offset voltage. If the mV offset continues to deviate and the meter is calibrated with a dirty electrode, inaccurate readings will occur.

    Storage solution:

HI70300L is a solution that can be used to store your pH electrode*. To ensure optimal response time, the glass sensor tip and pH electrode reference junction should be kept moist and not allowed to dry out when not in use. Placing the electrode in a small glass filled with storage solution or replacing the solution in the protective cap is a suitable way to store the electrode. The HI70300L should also be used to rehydrate the electrode after a cleaning procedure by soaking it for at least one hour before taking measurements.
