AFRIMESURE prides itself on its ability to help customers easily and accurately measure the elements essential to their fields, including total and free chlorine.
It's important to note the difference between free and total chlorine. Free chlorine refers to the available forms of chlorine, such as hypochlorous acid and hypochlorite, which are added to disinfection solutions. When free chlorine combines with contaminants, it becomes combined chlorine, otherwise known as chloramines. Once combined, chlorine has a reduced disinfection capacity. The measurement of total chlorine will always be higher than that of free chlorine, as it is the sum of free and combined chlorine. Free chlorine measurement is therefore a direct indication of the disinfectant solution's effectiveness.
AFRIMESURE offers a wide range of instruments for measuring chlorine. Chemical test kits (CTK) and Checker portable chlorometers (mono-parametric and multi-parametric),
AFRIMESURE offers an accurate and affordable solution for almost any free and total chlorine application.
